We will have a good amount of seedless grapes. We have 4 long rows that are mixed with 6 varieties, red, blue and green in color.

Juice or slip skin grapes are very commonly grown in Ohio. Concord, Buffalo, Eddelvies, Niagra, Catawaba, and a few others are all wonderful. Each variety ripens at a different time so you can always pick fruit that is mature and has the sugars that are expected. Picking imature fruit especially grapes may not be as noticable as other fruit however, comparring them to a mature variety will demonstrate how obvious it is.

Ransom Cider does not have a planned schedule yet. We built our barn with a winery in mind however, need to focus on other farming and general structure activivities for a few more years .

We enjoy having different varieties of everything! Grapes are no exception.

The grape clusters pull off rather easily with a quick tug. If you wish to bring cutters you can but pulling/twisting is faster and much more safe.

The walkway under the grapevines hopefully will fill in 2023. Currently it is still wonderful to look at and see the hanging fruit just above your head. Perfect for photos and weddings.

Everyone knows Concord grapes but there are many other varieties that you should try. Concord are at the peak at the end of September or beginning of October.
